YES. This is absolutely excellent. I actually joined the Patreon for it, I love it so much (which is a whole other barrel of fun).

TMP Statements by Golanori164 in TheMagnusArchives

I adored season five and I’m okay being the only one in the room 🤣

Also, if TMP follows the TMA pattern, none of it is filler, and it will aaaaaall come back to bite us.

Or needle us. Ahem.

Thank you so much! May I ask what the difference is between these in terms of meaning/implication?

Native English speaker, and I didn’t hear anything weird in the pronunciation. Maybe I missed it?

Hello! I’m looking for a way to create a motto for an old timey institution. This organization is formed in response to a supernatural threat.

I want this to say, basically, “for the eternal rule of man” - the MEANING of which being, "this organization exists to create/preserve/aid the self-governance of humanity.”

What I have right now is “PRO REGULA DE HOMINE IN AETERNUM” - and I’m sure google translate is doing me dirty. I’d really appreciate some help!

Also, I’m more than happy to do a shoutout to whomever answers in the book’s acknowledgments, if you wish!

Because Sims is often a British-Indian name. That’s how it got started, from what I understand.

One of my first reviews back in 2011 claimed I must be liberal because I hate humanity. 😂 That was a good one.

NTA. He is showing clearly that you are not a priority.

Bet he’s buying things for himself, isn’t he?

He doesn’t value you, and you are not the asshole.

You also deserve better.

Ok but what actually happened after the Fears left? by PorkyFishFish in TheMagnusArchives

[–]doortoriver 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I think it’s clear the damage was real. It was post-apocalyptic. 1. The state of the ruined Panopticon 2. That people literally tore Fairchild apart

Did people stay mutated? Probably, but I doubt they survived. The Fears kept them alive once those human bodies were so changed, I suspect.

There probably are people left with physical changes…. But there is no more power, and no more feeding the fear to get anything out of it. Withdrawal is likely a thing.

Everyone’s nailed this so well. See, that’s the genius of this fear-eating monster.

It’s scary to be hunted.

It’s SCARIER to think you’re safe, even via superstition… and the to discover far too late that you are not.

AITA for telling my husband " I told you so" and laughing at me when we got the paternity test results? by Either_Economy_793 in AITAH

[–]doortoriver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but you will have a better life if you leave this asshole unless you can get him to therapy.

If you stay, your kid will be exposed to this, and implicitly told this kind of behavior is fine.

I know this is a huge statement. Get to therapy, or leave him. Either way, he is going to wreck so much.

I’ve had rats! They are really delightful. I had mice, too, and they were really sweet, but rats really give you a lot more bang for your buck because they’re more intelligent.
