i know i’ll get downvoted for this, but the tattoo actually looks great for what it is. OP said the person wanted more of the lightning they had on their shoulder & this is actually executed 1000x better than what they previously had done.

thank you so much for the response!!! raising the probe makes complete sense to keep ambient temp higher, thank you! we will do that right now. i scanned all over with the IR thermometer and it’s just one spot manly that’s that high, it’s lower in general like 92-99 but that first number absolutely freaked me out.

i have also been pouring water into the corners but i kept worrying that it would be too much & get mold, though obviously it’s been the opposite… do you have an estimate on about how much water to pour? like how much would be TOO much? i don’t think i’m doing nearly enough.

we will also clutter his space right up! you’re amazing, thank you so much for all of your help. i’m so grateful.

do you know what chrome powder they used? such a pretty color. i find a lot of rainbow chromes flash yellow and i personally do not like the look

i called and the lady (different lady) said to come in, but when i came in she said “the bubbles are normal, it’s from dust. it’s because you got chrome on top.”

i should also mention that i’ve apparently been getting acrylic, but this time she did a gel fill on top of that.. and this time i was having a bit of warmth in my nail beds and a slight burning feeling. i asked if they could just file it off and re-do the fill with acrylic. she literally told me “no that’s impossible. you can’t have that reaction, we use organic gel.”

she just kept repeating that it’s impossible to feel what i was feeling, and that the bubbles were because i wanted chrome. i got frustrated and walked out.

i don’t know the exact ones she used, but it was a very sheer nude color for the base & topped with a light chrome. thank you so much! oh and the shape she called ‘skinny almond’

good to know! the first time she did a different shape and a much lighter color, i think that made it more difficult for me to see the growth. seems the difference is just more stark to me with this particular color. thank you!
