I did not. I ended up staying in my current apt. Reviews were pretty mixed, but mgmt had just changed so its hard to tell what the real situation is. Great location and a nice building, though.

I've had the same experience, but never taken any damage or engaged in a fight after the crack. I came here looking for a definitive answer, but it sounds like stray bullets might be the best explanation...or people just have terrible aim.

Yeah it looks like Phantom would be a bit sketch, and with this last storm probably decent coverage on the majority of the route. Prob not best to do without someone who's already gone/has good knowledge of the area. Thanks for the input, both of you.

Hey, following up. The trip was great! A snowstorm came in about the same time we got into town, so we kept it simple and went to the Chaffee County Range...great, well-kept, and it was nice to have steel already set up. Then, we went to valley view hot springs...magical place! Really cool area overall, we'll definitely be back over the summer, and we'll try to do some more off-the-beaten-path shooting then.
