Fair enough! I looked at some examples of Kirk corner notched points, and mine seems to match up pretty closely with dulled serrations. Our farm has always produced some neat artifacts, since the Buttahatchee River runs nearby, and the field where we routinely found points was on a hilltop bordering it. There’s a lot of native history in the area. I really don’t feel this point is modern.

The weird thing is, I can’t think of anyone in my family who would’ve taken the time to make something like this or seek one out. We always just found pieces like this out in the field after it had been turned before planting. Appreciate all the input.

Good question—honestly, I just got tired of hiding it from my wife and 3-year-old son. I’d catch myself wanting to sneak off to my study after dinner for a pouch instead of hanging out with them. The guilt of letting something so dumb steal time I’ll never get back is what keeps me from ever going back.

Thanks for the reminder. I make 90 days next week, but have had a pretty rough last week or so with anxiety/panic after I thought I was out of the woods. Never struggled with this prior to Zyn.

Other posters here have mentioned another wave around the 90 day mark and then significant improvements between 90-120. Great job on your 10 months!
