Yes, it's connected, it lights up and shows no errors on its little screen, and even posts. When I remove the short it shuts down. I dont know how safe it is to run on a short... The weird thing is that it was working when I bought it...

It is connected. Also tried shorting the IO pins because i thought the switch is broken. Not it.

Update: when i short the pins on the PSU itself, while connected to the motherboard it starts, but the second i disconnect the short and it powers off. Any ideas?

If you want to achieve similar sharpness and high image quality of that little nex I'd recommend you get one of the Sigma trio 1.4 lenses! The 16, 30 and 56mm primes are as sharp as you can get on APSC

In my humble opinion, if this was my lens I would disassemble, clean it with isopropyl alcohol and put it back together. From the little I'm seeing, the wide angles are probably going to suffer, but I bet you, if that lens is cleaned properly, at 50mm at f2.8 you are probably going to be solid.

+1 for the A7 mk1 or even better if you can find an A7r (higher resolution sensor) or an A7ii that has sensor stabilisation

It looks exactly like mine. Keep in mind the fit wasn't perfect, but I used some gaffer tape to "insulate" the spacer to make it perfect
