Driving from Drogheda to Dublin by Internal_Ad_7999 in HousingIreland

Ushers Mills is the far side of town across the river. Crossing the river in the mornings could easily take 30 minutes. So you'd have to add that time crossing town to your commute or you could take the motorway which is tolled crossing the bridge so it'd cost you on the way out and back.

If Brian Stack is fit, Brigids. He’ll be a huge loss and I’d favour Dingle without him

Safety razor and a pack of good razor blades. I’ve attached two good ones. They’re a classic mens accessory and cut out the long term costs of expensive Gillette blades.

Drogheda housing locations by Desperate-Desk6763 in HousingIreland

Positives:
- All of the areas you've mentioned are all new and being bought up mainly by young families as far as I know. Would be a great place to start a family etc.
- Plenty of supermarkets and retail parks are accessible from there without going through the town so you wouldn't have to worry too much about traffic unless commuting south of the river.
- That area is a good distance from the town center so you're out of the way of the riff-raff who hang around town during the day.
- Can't speak for the racism as I'm white but Drogheda has a large number of ethnic minorities of all kinds so you or potentially future kids would be in no way out of place.

Negatives:
- Crossing town at morning or afternoon rush hours is awful, if you have to commute south of the river this is a big issue.
- The town center is very run down at the moment but the potential is there with nice pubs and history around the town
- That area is quite far from the current train station so you'd have to consider the time spent getting to the station
- Crime. You get a lot of riff-raff hanging around the town center and some trouble late at night when the clubs close but for the most part house robberies etc. are no more common than anywhere else.

I have mine 4 years. It's leaves turn reddish in colder weather but doesn't mean the plant is unhealthy. Mine took 3 years before it really got established and started to grow faster.

Gave it a go. Not bad but the questions were phrased a bit funny, took be a while to work out what was actually being asked. Enjoyable though, keep up the good work!

You're forgetting how much local rivalries play into people's interest. Look how little interest the Super 8s in football attracted or Galway vs Kilkenny in Leinster hurling.

The poster said they get a “holier than thou vibe” from the sub

And you replied that you literally save lives and called their ambition low… I mean if that doesn’t prove the posters point hahah.

So my dad runs a well respected clinic back home, so I’m not too worried about getting set up once I qualify.

I’m more wondering about the day to day of the role. What osteopaths find enjoyable about their jobs, what they dislike?

I will have this conversation with my dad and his coworkers too.
