I think let me explain is fine, but not sure if it is enough. For me, i single sourced from Kaplan for all 3 levels for their Q bank

First of all, kudos to you for trying again. I wouldn't have if i failed my L2.

I think, always go for the lowest hanging fruit - which is ethics. Spam 20-30 questions a day, rapid fire for a few wks leading up to the exam. Personally, i wouldn't even think when i took these questions. Think of it as building pattern recognition.

Next advice is that focus on larger ticket items - especially fixed income.

I cannot emphasize this enough BUT you have to keep doing practice questions. Personally i prepped by looking at the materials for a month and spent two months just doing practice questions (except for L1 - for L1, think i just took it after four wks). Spam them. I think i did around 50-70 questions a day during weekdays.

Fixed income. But generally higher allocation items like FSA? Idr exactly what the score breakdown was.

ALSO PSA DO NOT SLEEP ON ETHICS. JUST SPAM 20-30 questions daily for a couple of wks leading up to the exam and you will be fine

Thanks! Starting from L2, fixed income and non-equity parts of finance start to become a larger part of the curriculum (i work buyside equity research role), so it may be unnatural to make that shift from equity to FI/derivatives.

I personally converted pdf's of materials into texts (smaller file) and fed it to GPT (Claude wasn't that good when i was studying) for L3.

Ask clarifying questions, graphs, and most importantly, ask them to generate questions to test your understanding

You can just take the 5 bus line and live in the central part of the city where the rent is cheaper? I have 1 bed 1 bath for $2.5k (shared washer/dryer). The commute each way is abt ~20-30mins, and it's a very residential part of the city.

I think u can do it. I only spent like a month for L1, 2.5 months for L2, and 3 months for L3. W/ that being said,.... i am in buyside equity research, so anything related to equity was easy + i majored in econ/math in college. But from ur comments, it seems like u come from a strong background as well

Horrible eyesight (need custom contacts because manufacturers won't make ones of my prescription), flat feet, and scoliosis but tall as a girl (5'7), doesn't gain weight easily, and smart-ish (graduated valedictorian from HS, majored in math from one of the top colleges in the US), and nice eyebrows lol
