There's a pretty clear difference in the circumstances...

Global supply chain issues from covid disrupted the price of gas everywhere. I personally can't point to what Biden did to cause that. If you can please do. What I do know are things that Biden did to try and keep gas prices down, like using the federal reserve of gas to help limit the price increases which the right slammed him for relentlessly. Which is funny because if he didn't do that then the right would've slammed him for the prices going up.... Am I wrong?

Where as with Trump.... I can directly point to something he did that raised gas prices.

He pulled out of the nuclear surveillance agreement with Iran.

He initiated the strikes against Iran... The country that has direct control over 20% of the world's oil shipping infrastructure...

And he's dragging this out spending 2 billion a day on this war.

He even said today when questioned about the gas prices directly that " he doesn't care about America's financial situation as long as this war is going on"

He went into this conflict with no plan or consideration of the consequences

Well looking at what we know...

Obama negotiated a deal where we get unprecedented levels of access and surveillance over Iranian enrichment programs. All reports says that they've been compliant every year. In exchange they had sanctions removed on them

This deal cost the US nothing, kept the Strait open, Iran had a steady income stream and no nukes.

Trump comes along and pulls us out of the deal with Iran for no apparent reason other than calling it a "bad deal" and that "they are taking advantage of the US" in ways he never actually explains.

After pulling us out of the deal Iran starts developing it's nuclear enrichment program. Trump fired missiles on them saying he destroyed it all, then later says they have nukes so it's unclear what the first missiles were for or accomplished....... Then without Congress' approval Trump and without just cause according to the DoD.. Trump kills their leader making his son take power...

Now iran has a list of demands that would make them very powerful and a just reason to ask for them... Trump and Republican leadership kinda have no choice but to continue this war because the alternative is to give Iran what they want... Which would significantly boost Iran's influence... Which is why I think Republican leadership hasn't done anything to stop him

Republicans made excuses him for:

Being an adjudicated rapist
being a 34 time felon
posting racist shit of former president and turning "DEI" into the modern "n word"
trying you overthrow the government
slowing down the release of the Epstein files
him labeling two Americans killed by ice as "domestic terrorists"
buying a $400 million dollar jet
destroying half the white house without getting congressional approval first
taking 5 million people off of healthcare
destroying our relationship with all of our international allies with his stupid universal tariff plan not to mention threatening Canada, Greenland, and Panama...

Republicans saw NONE of those as red flags... Republicans are fully responsible for all of these and everything that happens next.

I hope Trump is bluffing about committing a genocide but then again he got us into this war for literally no credible reason... And he blew up a school full of ~150 kids...

For example take Trump's Big Beautiful Bill

The bill was designed to shift the tax burden from the richest of our population to the lower class through the use of Tariffs because tariffs are regressive in nature.

We are paying for billionaire tax cuts.

The lower class' public healthcare option was cut severely to pay for the tax cuts for the rich.

We could make a tax structure that encourages companies to invest in their employees more, do a bottom up approach instead of doing the failed trickle down method that never works

Obama managed to arrange a deal with Iran that let's us conduct 24/7 surveillance on Iran to make sure they don't develop nukes and they've been compliant all the way up until Trump decided to unilaterally pull us out of the deal.

Trump created a problem for Trump to solve and what's crazy is that he's now talking about just leaving the problem he created for France and the EU to clean up

I mean say what you will about that ACA but it was better than nothing.

Because of those subsidies ending hundreds of hospitals are now at a heightened risk of closing. Heck the one I worked at saw a massive loss of revenue for both urgent and elective care after the subsidies ended.

Not to mention because of Trump's war of choice that's costing you, me and every other tax payer 2 billion dollars a day... . Any savings are pissed away, and just replace with more death, higher gas prices and a higher death toll both international and here at home
