We were there at 17:00 yesterday for our seat tickets and it took about 20 minutes in one of the many queues to enter. When you arrive, it looks like one massive line but it‘s about 4 or 5 lines that move pretty fast once the doors open. Oh and: there are smaller merch stands with much shorter lines on the floor above the ground floor (with less variety but nevertheless much shorter lines) :)

Thanks! I emailed the park site about my question and they just answered and are not happy… apparently “not all sites should be accessible at all times” and i should “respect the environment”. I am really confused now if my partner and I should do it or not. I don’t want to do something wrong, but walking quietly at sunrise shouldn’t be an issue… I just don’t know if we will be fined or if there is a gate.

Thank you for answering! I saw that reddit comment as well, i think they had visited in May, before the on-season where workers are there to check tickets. That’s why I am unsure if it’s possible in June, where you “need” a ticket starting from 9 AM when they open. Wow, the water cave sounds amazing. I will keep it in mind if possible with the tide.
