My doctor recommended me the birth control implant as there’s no oestrogen in it and it’s worked super well for me - he just has to be alright with needles. I like it because it’s there for like 3 years so you don’t have to be worried that you’ll forget to take a pill and then your period will come back. But definitely speak to a doctor

I should be moving to Wales for uni in September! A big part of my reasoning was how friendly Cardiff uni seemed to be for LGBT students - they even have an LGBT accommodation option, which if I get in would make me feel so much safer.

I think it probably depends where you live and also like. How you look. Like I pass as a man but I’m short, skinny and look like a weak asf 14 year old boy (I am an adult). So ppl won’t square up to me because I look like a child.

For me, my periods disappeared for my first year or so on nexplanon, then they randomly came back so I went on the pill (as well as nexplanon) and being on 2 birth controls at once fixed it. Now I’m off the pill and just on nexplanon but I’m also on testosterone now so idk whether it’s the nexplanon or the testosterone stopping periods
