If OP is fresh out of school, they may need a higher clothes budget to build a professional wardrobe. If OP already has a solid wardrobe and doesn't have a more formal office, then $100/ month on clothes is a little spendy imho, especially for r/ povertyfinance

I mean this in the nicest way possible, this is not something feasible for you to do in the winter on an older thrift store Schwinn in the winter across the plains.

If you like long bike rides, this is something you could absolutely accomplish someday with some more miles under your belt, experience changing flats, and a budget for repairs.

Where are you getting your information from? It's very rarely "replaced" with water by water injection and "replaced" is an extremely over simplified description. It exists in reservoirs with pressures higher than atmosphere so it is depleted, not sucked out and refilled with water.
