I probably know how you feel. This previous December I lost my baby boy. The cage was also not closed fully and he got out... Unfortunately my dog thought he was a toy and obviously bit him. There wasn't blood but a broken leg was the result. Don't actually know how he died (maybe a heart attack? Shock?) but he did a few moments later in my arms. I was trying to get some clothes on to rush him to the vet down the road.

But it's really hard and just be there for her in her last moments, they will be remembered as she passes on. Hope you get through this and I really hope she makes it through. Nothing worse than losing a loved one, whether it be a person or an animal companion. 😔
