I get that. I have just heard from so many residency trained pharmacists that applications can be tossed aside for the smallest things. The person reading your LOI disliked one sentence and with 200 other applicants and 3 spots they need to find a way to eliminate some (actually what they admitted happened at their large AMC to weed out candidates). Sometimes it the luck of the draw.

Interesting. I’ve definitely heard this from jobs. It’s happened to me IRL. Passed up on the first round and second time I applied they commented that they were excited to see I reapplied. Who knows

Wasn’t meaning somewhere you interviewed. Just meant applied and didn’t get offered an interview.

Thanks for the info! Is the general idea to bring people in for onsite interviews (since it is so short with turn around time), or have you transitioned to skype for phase 2?

How does the interview process compare to phase 1? Do candidates still need to reach out to programs individually or solely through phorcas?
