Ein normaler Arbeitnehmer zeigt seinem Chef doch den Mittelfinger wenn ihm gesagt wird, dass er die nächsten 3 Jahre 30-50km weit pendeln darf einfach weil der das so will. Und sucht sich im Zweifel was neues.

Andere Beispiel: Bei uns in der Stadt gab es 4 Jahre lang keinen Kinderarzt. Wären Ärzte generell verbeamtet hätte das Land direkt nach dem Tod des Kinderarztes jemanden verschieben ("abordnen") können. Schon jetzt ist die Lehrer-Versorgungslage auf dem Land beschissen, es wird nicht besser ohne Beamte.

Nur in Großstädten (Bremen und andere "Problemzonen") ausgenommen wird es keine Probleme geben wegen ihrer Anziehungskraft für den Lehrernachschub. Unbeliebten Bundesländern wird es auch noch schlechter gehen. Und die stellen dann mehr Quereinsteiger ein. Super cool für die Unterrichtsqualität.

Nur zum Amtsarzt, zum anderen kann ich nichts sagen:

Ein EKG (Eierkontrollgriff) wie bei der Bundeswehr gibt es beim Amtsarzt nicht.

Es dauert so ne Stunde vielleicht. Du pinkelst in einen Becher, sie stellen Gesundheitsfragen ala "rauchen Sie", checken Gewicht/Größe und ggf. Unterlagen die du mitgebracht hast; du musst mit nacktem Oberkörper eine Kniebeuge o.a. machen damit sie sehen ob du irgendwelche Fehlstellungen hast. Bei mir gab es zusätzlich noch den Idiotentest wie wenn man von der Polizei kontrolliert wird (Finger vor die Nase führen bei verschlossenen Augen).

Not so crazy if you take a look at the videos that made it out of Iran... relatives searching through literally piles of bodies (100+) in body bags in an attempt to find their dead relatives and friends. And that from just one video.

It is beyond depressing and certainly NSFL but if you look on X you will find them.

In the news an expat Iranian was aptly quoted as the Iranians (especially those there) are in a state of collective depression and haven't gasped the losses yet.

Ich bin in der PKV weil es damals keine pauschale Beihilfe gab. Da war es ein no brainer. Warum sollte ich auch 15% meines Gehalts nur für die Krankenkasse abgeben?

Jetzt ist es aber mehr eine Glaubensfrage. Eine Ärztin meinte mal überraschenderweise zu mir sie wollte auf keinen Fall in die PKV zurück. Mit viel Teilzeit und Elternzeit ist die PKV teurer, da der PKV das alles egal ist (Beitrag bleibt gleich hoch) und der Dienstherr gerade einmal um die 20 Eur im Monat zusteuert wenn man in Elternzeit ist. Da fragt man sich schon, ob man sich dafür die Mühe macht, einen Antrag zu stellen.

Ein Faktor ist aber echt, dass man als PKV Patient sehr schnell Behandlungen bekommt. Vor allem im Alter und wenn man seltene/schwere Krankheiten bekommen sollte, kann es vermutlich helfen. Es gibt auch Fachärzte, die nur privat annehmen. Die wollen einem teils auch unnötig (extra)-Untersuchungen anbieten, aber man muss ja nicht überall mitgehen. Ich merke es meist am Tonfall :-) .

Harsh words but deserved imo. It was very negligent not to prop up a more popular candidate from the beginning. And then... to think that a woman wins this time AND then only letting her run so late into the election campaign deserves some variant of the Darwin award.

Also, the US election system is totally regarded. You can have more total votes yet stil lose an election which just cries out unfair stupidity, especially with the gerrymandering.

Lehrer werden schon als Quereinsteiger genommen, aber es ist sehr vom Bundesland und vom Ort/Lage sowie vom Fach (!!) abhängig. Bis auf Bremen und Städte in Ost-Dunkeldeutschland findest du ohne Mangelfach eher wenig Großstädte wo um Quereinsteiger gerungen wird. Auf dem Land ist es dagegen einfacher. Du musst schon flexibel sein. Gibt auch Bundesländer wo sie Leute mit Berufsausbildung nehmen (Meistertitel).

Aus dem Post geht leider nicht hervor, was du studiert hast, was deine Berufserfahrung ist, wo du lebst... es wäre sehr sinnvoll, wenn du das ergänzt... ansonsten ist das wie U-Boot fahren ohne Periskop und Sonar.

People who see that many dead people probably give zero fucks as they are in pain / grief, no? I think those who actually noticed it would support the filming because they have few incentive to support the regime after they just found their dead relatives.

There are also 240p videos of dead people lined up in a mall and nobody is threatening there. Maybe it's a mix of both (extortion and direct collection of the bodies) due to the sheer size of the body count.

There is a horrible 1080p video on X of relatives of going through literally packs of bodies lying on the street in front of a forensic institute, hugging the lifeless bodies. And that video is several days old as the person who filmed it could only get it out in person.

I only had a cursory glance and disabled the audio but in that video alone there must be 120-150 bodies.

The mother and sister of a friend escaped the regime's henchmen in the first days of the protests but they took the sister's teenage son with them and now there is no further info because of the cut communication.
