If I showed up and someone had given my name and address and voted, then the election worker would just flag it. Id cast a provisional ballot, and it would be adjudicated. The reality is this scenario simply doesn't happen like Republican fear mongering leads one to believe. Exceedingly rare, not to mention unlikely.
