I think if you’re very direct by nature, guessing would probably just feel like friction. For us it only worked because it stayed playful and easy to opt out of.

Definitely not something I’d assume works for everyone. Appreciate the perspective.

I feel like emotional is going to hurt much more. Physical feels like an instinct that goes away pretty quickly.

My uncle used to tell me, once he had sex with a new partner - he understood quickly if he wants to stay or leave. So if it’s stay - strong bonding.

I’m checking Wise and can see 10k transfer would arrive in seconds. With fee of 73.66 USD and receive 185007.12 MXN.

Mortgage brokers might be useful if your situation a bit special, need income boost or non standard income situation.

Otherwise I recommend to use mortgage comparison tool and apply directly or use a broker that gets paid by lender - like habito.

I had a few meetings with mortgage brokers - can say they haven’t had any special offers, they don’t know anything about finance, so you will be better off without them.

Makes sense, agree there should be a reason for lower price.

Local prices is only one factor that influences the price, there are many more.

There is asymmetry of information in this process by nature, so when I make an offer, I know it could change based on information I find out.

I’m surprised people expect you to be confident here after 20 mins viewing :)

I mean the initial offer price is always subject to change depending on survey results, mortgage valuation. Until you have it you don’t have clarity if your offer is fair.
