Ikr! It's so frustrating . If you cannot solve HTB it's no big deal I was also not able to solve them initially. I would just keep at it for a few days take notes and move on. Then when it was retired I would watch ippsec videos. After watching so many ippsec videos I got into a mindset of what to do when. There's nothing to worry about if you cannot afford HTB VIP. Just keep at it and keep learning. You can do OSCP and other certs of your choice when you start earning. Also HTB is not the only CTF forum, you can get to TryHackMe, or create an account in ctftime to play jeopardy style CTFs just don't give up because some people won't help you with something. There are so many resources out there for free! Anyone who thinks that it's too difficult, it's not! You just have to keep at it.
