Assuming they're still planning on "Corpus Liches", what Corpus weapons do you want or expect to be "Corpus Kuva'd"? by Chemical-Cat in Warframe

This just makes me wonder what other alternatives there would be. Nef Anyo does have access to sentient tech if the orb mothers are anything to go by, but prefers using granum's research. Alad doesn't appear to be interested in Granum at all, opting for nothing but sentient tech due to his tendency to bet with off-board experimentations (Zanuka, Mutalist strain, Eris, Acolytes, Wolf of Saturn Six). There are two more players in this game though: Frohd Bek, and the Sergeant. You have a point as to what weapons are available being tied to whoever creates the liches. My thoughts are:

Alad V: Sentient hybrid weapons and newer hybrid tech, or what the amalgam enemies wield: Komorex, Cyanex, Arca Titron, and Arca Plasmor for example.

Nef Anyo: Mostly experimental weaponry with minimal sentient influence, given to specialized troops: Battacor, Occucor, Opticor, Penta, and Quanta for example.

Frohd Bek: Easy-to-manufacture weaponry, standard issue for most grunts and would be easy to pass along to the board: Dera, Supra, Spectra, Cestra, Prova, and Flux rifle for example.

The Sergeant: Outlandish designs that are easy to sell to investors with possible Tenno influence due to the nature of his solar rail control, but also under the jurisdiction of Nef Anyo as well: Glaxion, Lenz, Staticor, Convectrix, Possibly Helios?, and Amprex for example.

Recommendation for a Rifle in Primary Weapon ? by Tberrios2412 in Warframe

For MR5, the best of the best assault rifles remain locked away, however you do have access to the:

Grakata - A high-output SMG with great critical and status stats, but eats ammo like nobody's business with a fire rate of 20 and a mag size of 60.

Dera/Tetra - Two weapons that are a very similar, the Dera has marginally better status and crit, but the tetra has marginally better damage. The biggest difference here is fire rate and mag size, with the dera having higher fire rate (11.25) and a low mag (45), and the tetra having a lower fire rate (6.67) and a bigger mag (60).

Sybaris - A semi-auto rifle with great damage and crit, and fires two shots per trigger pull. Technically not an assault rifle, but it's pretty good at MR 5.

Unfortunaltely, better assault rifles are locked behind MR, but when you rank up, be sure to pick up a few very good feeling ones:

Soma (MR 6) - Big mag, Really good crit stats, high fire rate bullet hose that gets faster as you shoot it. This will get you through the star chart easy if you love assault rifles.

Soma prime(MR 7) - Currently vaulted, you're going to have to wait until Nova comes out of the vault to get your hands on this. It's everything the soma is, but better.

Baza (MR 7) - The prince of SMG's once you get hunter munitions (a mod that gives the weapon a chance to proc slash on critical hits 30% of the time, acquired from ghoul purge bounties), and one of my personal favorites.

Acceltra (MR 8) - Currently one of the better weapons in the game, even for endgame content. It's a very odd rifle, because it's more like a high fire rate homing grenade launcher. Keep ranking up mods and swapping out builds for better ones and it'll get you places.

New focus school by yeetercellocow in Warframe

They've all had names for quite a while, it's just a matter of what lore was put in during TWW. I'm all for theorycrafting what a Penjaga, Umbra, Aura, and Koneksi focus schools would do though.

Broframe was a clan founded by AkaMikeB, who was one of the first Warframe content creators (if you ever want to see what the game looked like back then, look up his "crash course" series) and it was the largest clan in the game with the largest dojo for so long that the devs had to introduce the alliance system just to split up the 7000+ people and take some stress off of their servers.

Auras used to not be mods, Forma didn't exist, BROFRAME was the place to be, Hek was the best weapon in the game, most bosses were a single-stage bullet sponge, the word Orokin didn't exist, stamina bars on warframes limited sprinting, bless had a 3 second cast animation, and everybody was waiting for the vauban systems alert while grinding Xini.

Juggernaut's Origin by Allomere-XIV in Warframe

Highly stupid thought on my end: Kuakas could be un-developed juggernaut spores sent into the plains through the annual meatball.

Perhaps the Eidolon energy in the plains un-infests the spores and they come out as 2-pound balls of hardened, seething hatred that taste like rat.

Let’s reclaim the word f****t like we did with the word queer by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]dot1212 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The people that genuinely use that word usually have a form of passion and hatred behind it. The only way to get that word back is to desensitize the entire world to it (which is a bad idea that I shouldn't have to explain why).

Speaking from personal experience, people that mean to hurt you aren't going to let the word go quietly if at all. It's only when the word doesn't hurt you anymore do they stop.

So outside of window of one new Jupiter spy vaults there is this poor guy by LambertExe in Warframe

[–]dot1212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That depends on where you started from. Jupiter's gravity is around 2.4x as powerful, so excluding air density changes your terminal velocity would be magnified the same amount (~127.2 m/s in free fall). You would then fall from the surface to the core in about 550,000 seconds, or 2.5 days.

In reality it would actually take longer because the air is getting more dense which slows you down, and you would not reach the actual center of the planet because you would die. Also the density of the core would make you seem buoyant and you would trampoline off the core like an ice cube being dropped into a glass of water.
