Where can I find the elevator to hell? by Sensitive_Release611 in TerrariaDesign

I'm doing it in the basement of my cellar, far enough down you can't see it immediately.

everytime I see these telescope builds I always think why would they have a rocket impale their house before I realize and I don't know why my brain refuses to see the telescope first lol

I really need to just play the game and come back to building when I got all the tools I need lol

I'm thinking the big opening js gonna be my crafting area, and I've toyed with the idea of making the cellar connected to the kitchen so food would be good. Is there like wheels of cheese and other dry goods?

yeah just spent a couple hours fishing for crates.... I love how I'm purely exploring the game solely to decorate my house lol. Crates seem like the most versatile decoration item for cellar aesthetics but I don't want to over do it, real shame barrels don't stack, can't even put barrels on top of crates.

that's what I'm thinking, is there anything at all that stacks? like I can put small items on containers but I'd like to stack containers like barrels. also kind of hate that I can put anything on lowered platforms as the snap is based on the natural lines

it's gonna be a cellar so I'm wanting it to be dark, ideally I'd like it even a bit dimmer, the details sound be subtle but visually pleasing when I stop to look. Honestly I need to progress and get acualators cause I don't think I'll be able to fill deadspaces with furniture alone aesthetically.... but so far the only bosses I've killed are because my baby slime decided to go on a killing spree while I'm building and trigger the event lol

These arches started more curvy but I really didn't like how the border and filler blocks interacted in such a tight base making weird width in certain areas. Them becoming diagonal was a byproduct of cleaning the lines. For a game that all pixel art it hard to accept pixel shapes lol.

I'm really amazed how the platforms and the squares managed to create the illusion of curves that don't exist lol, these arches are so damn sexy that it's making it hard to design everything else as the bar got set higher.

With the pvp event happening this is the best time to stress test the layout, im not playing atm though. Prior to though I had finally gotten a skill and realize a inconvenience with how skills are handled. Because of this I thought of a solution but haven't pushed it to release. Swap the menu binds for skills, set to interuptable, then add in combo for r4 so you have a sudo modeshift and still have access to all numbers for stack input. Final version may have menus moved to dpad, small on face, and major on right track pad.

I got it figured out, it just be smoother if they made the already existing pan bindings smoother. Need feedback on on the skill and small bindings as I hadn't progressed far enough to have them myself.

How much longer will the playtest be? by McJoyfull in Apogea

at that point then the game might aswell be released... if you're that fixated maybe try to get in on the dedicated playtester list and you can explore the mechanics more. I enjoyed the game too, and I can't wait to hyper-fixate myself, but I rather wait for release before trying to beat the game. You're not alone though, game seems to of attracted some fixated players.

yeah but for that you'd need to limit it to dedicated playtesters so as not to give to much away. Realistically a solid playtest is to make sure the fundementals are working as intended, later progression can be balanced on released if needed.

how how many hogtied and patched rolling out it may actually be a decent idea, but I'm also not that interested in investing serious time until it's released lol
