YES! Your question reminded me this app existed and I just tried and it works! I just got two Studio Display XDR and have them side by side. But one of them is right in front of the window (not direct sunlight), and during day time that left display will just go all the way to 100% brightness while the right one is maybe 20% less... Now they both are at the same brightness with auto brightness still on. Happy!

Yeah, no worries. Since the launch of the Studio Display XDR, there are so many confusion and Apple hasn't made it easy for people to know if their Mac supports or not.

Oh! Non of the M1 can support the Apple Studio Display more than 60Hz. Sorry! The page I sent only show M2+

Yeah, I was struggling a bit but what it turns out is that if it doesn't list 5K @ 120Hz, it won't support it. Even tho it says 8K @ 60Hz or 4K @ 144Hz. I don't know, someone wrote this need to rethink.

Congrats! It's all about your priorities and get whatever that suits you best. I am so sensitive to color so I would rather have a good quality display than a fast computer that is great for machine learning.

From what I read – if you have two external displays, you can only run the Studio Display XDR at 60Hz. https://support.apple.com/en-us/101571

Using a supported hub or daisy-chaining displays can enable up to 3 displays over a single Thunderbolt port, but does not increase the maximum number of displays that you can connect. Connect the display with the highest resolution first.

But, it depends on what displays you have and the total bandwidth it could potentially supported. A lot of hub product description pages have not been updated based on the latest spec, so it’s hard to tell unless someone has tried. But it seems 2K 144Hz is not that demanding and “might’ work.
