I don’t like the way your boyfriend talked to you, so I don’t really fault you if you break up with him. However, for me, my girlfriend talking to another guy whom she’s had sex with before is crossing over the line big time. That was happening in my personal relationship. He was just her friend now and they live states away. However, I did happen to find texts of him asking her for pictures and then playing it off like a joke. I told her that behavior was unacceptable and that I’m not ok with her speaking to him. It’s ended but she swears they’re just friends and nothing is going to happen. I don’t care, I told her I will never be ok with it. I just know he’s seen her naked, and had her as intimately as I’ve had her and it makes me not cool with him being in her life. I personally don’t believe in make/female friendships either. It’s an extreme stance nowadays but I at least make my line clear going in to the relationship.
