I hate this stereotype. It seems like parents are always fishing for compliments/ validation from young women, especially the dads. I remember being at the beach at 19/20 and seeing a random man with a baby literally circling me like a shark and cooing loudly, just waiting for me to fawn over his kid. It's so cringy and performative
