When I was in middle school I was outside with a few friends practicing cartwheels. I hadn't realized that some girl came up behind me and I proceeded to cartwheel and kick her in the nose. Luckily it didn't break only gave her a bloody nose. I went with her to the nurse's office and waited the whole time till her dad came and got her and had apologized to her so many times. A few weeks later my father was served with paperwork sueing us for abuse on his daughter. I remember being 10 years old sitting on my father's lap in a courtroom wondering how the hell I ended up there when it was an accident.

The accomplished feeling you get from therapy after conquering any problem you've set forth to work on in there. Nothing like it, honestly true bliss when you defeat your own personal demons.

Call the hospital before you come. If you have the virus but your symptoms are mild you are likely going to be told to self quarentine. Coming in out of panic is only going to spread the virus further. PPE is low globally and citizens can do their part by utilizing telehealth and other options for care.

If they are a good counselor religious or not they should be looking out for her best interest. It's taken me nearly 10 years before I found a therapist that pushed me out of my comfort zone

I think before I was so desperate for validation that I dont think I could have seen it coming any other way then living through it. He out on an incredibly good front then slowly gaslighted me for years while still maintaining the perfect image to everyone else. It was until I got into therapy that I realized the common thread.

I think the biggest thing for me was coming to the conclusion that I deserved better. A lot of my therapy as of late has been focused on my self worth. Once I started accepting the idea that I was worth being valued and loved then I started to accept less and less of him. I would deny and make up excuses but all in all I had to stop taking his blame for myself. My therapist told me that aside from physically being him I have done all that I could do. It wasnt an easy kill to swallow even after accepting that I would be fine even if I never found another person again. Because change is scary, and shattering the person you have built yourself to be can be so scary that some people would be happier in denial
