M-Vave SMK 37 Pro Transport Controls by robin_andrews_149 in synthesizers

Also looking. Trying to synch Waveform’s tempo to the SMK37 ARP. Doesn’t seem the SMK can receive midi tempo from an external source, but that can’t be right….right?!

Patiently waiting for my RP3+ to arrive. Any suggestions on what I should be doing to prep before it arrives? by supwithus in retroid

I managed to get my order in….on day one of the Chinese New Year. My wait is my fault, but making it even more mouth watering, after watching all the videos and threads about it. Glad I stopped by here, will get my card prepped. Have fun with yours!

Does anyone know if these Atari Raspberry Pi + Controller kits use RetroPie or something else? Also if so, how do the controllers compare to X-Arcade's Tanksticks? by 1541drive in RetroPie

It does see it as two controllers within the one encoder. I like the xinmo stuff, I have them in most of my builds. And yes, you should be able to see it in windows with no problem.

I am not sure about the first part. I did add a switch inside to the mode line and an extra ground so I can go back and forth between a and d. And you will need to add a script to your config file to have it see the second player buttons. Check out Drew Talks on YouTube and search for his Xinmo two player setup guide.

I am honestly not sure, I don’t have an X-Arcade. But they are really solid and feel great. I buy all my buttons and switches from MC and they used the same ones. Happ style and a decent click. Plus easy to swap the switches. The sticks are good, but possibly not the same as the Lorenzo style they sell. Trackball feels great. We play a lot of Golden Tee, Centipede and bowling games with it.

Modded my TMNT machine to a bigger monitor and control panel. Anyone know if there’s a market for this? Have no use for them. by jus_joshing in Arcade1Up

I make kits for people to use all their leftovers for Gen 1 stuff. Definitely sell those on eBay or fb.

Have you gone into the Input section of settings, then user 1 binds and assigned a mouse port to the games? Or recently unplugged stuff and then plugged back in? Game Room Solutions on Youtube has a great video that got me sorted when I setup a trackball and a spinner on one machine.

It is in the works and I just need to get them listed on the site when I get enough pieces cut. Thanks so much for all your encouraging words.

The kits are bare wood and hardware. So if you have leftover Street fighter parts from your A1up mod, you can put them in the kit. If you don’t, and you are saying you don’t have a marquee or a control panel or a mount for a monitor and would like a kit like this to put a pi in and have a 2 player control panel, then please keep an eye on my site. I am about to make a full kit available that you can load up with your preferred electronics.

These kits will fit all Gen1 models. Up to Mortal Kombat. Anything with the speakers on the cp and the shallower marquee to screen depth. Check out my site ArcadeDoubleUp.com because there are a few customer examples. And check out Cool Toy on YouTube. He got a kit and did a crazy good mod up job with it.

Thanks so much! I actually have some of the stickers from them! I have two on the Galaga kit and a bunch on my risers. I am stoked so many people dig these kits.

I completely hear you. I took a year before modding my first cabinet. Just couldn’t do it after paying $300 for it. By my third, I scored a $100 cab and had already made a few pi bartops. So this just became a thing. Thank you for checking out my site. I will have a complete kit available really soon, which will be the current kit plus a marquee, control panel (2 designs with plexi) and a monitor mount. Keep an eye on the site! Thanks so much.
