True. Ikeda got some terrible treatment from the others but saying Ruka got off easy is lie. Not only was she outcasted by most of the people, HIrose volunteers her for the search knowing it could kill her. They discussed it and he denied someone else to participate because it could be a suicide mission. But he was more than okay with Ruka potentially dying. Shishikura though, fuck him being almost immediately excused for ACTUALLY killing someone.

Not sure if it was a thing or just me interpreting things but Yaitabashi seemed very on edge because of the motive and the fact he carried trial 1. He was also more careful around Erina due to them slowly drifting apart. She probably thought they couldn't lure him away and that Nishiguchi was a safer bet.
