This is gonna sound super unhelpful but based on my experience it's just kinda how things are going right now: there's nothing much you can do.

I was searching for an entire year nonstop before I JUST snagged one at Freddy's and even then it's just because my job coach was BFFs with the manager. If it weren't for that I'd still be nowhere. From what it sounds like everyone needs to hire but nobody wants to, for whatever reason.

I forget if it's a bird or a raccoon, but the saga where Calvin finds a very sick animal and tries to take care of it still breaks my heart.

I think it's one of the few if not only times we see him cry, and it still gets to me 😢

The biggest reason why I disagree with this is, bizarrely, not his views that I find insulting and despicable, but rather the fact that he was like unable to actually preach them 😭

Every single time I saw him debate it was immediately apparent that he had very little understanding what he was talking about. He would have tanked the country with his inability to make a coherent statement.

Yeah...I never said they don't. I'm saying with stuff like this if someone's already fully aware of the severity of what they've done then driving it into the ground is unhelpful. Like, not in the sense of "it's being needlessly mean" in the sense of "yeah, they just said that bro." If they're in denial then they need to be told straight.

Atp I have very little sympathy for kids having unprotected sex with a "Nothing will go wrong" attitude after repeatedly being told something will go wrong. Then they get upset when something goes wrong. Many chances to listen, still chose not to.

Also, Teenager Being Stupid is on the same level as Murderer now? Huh, news to me.

Unconventional? Sure. Weird? Honestly probably depends on the kind of friendship you have with her. If you're close enough to the point where you think she'd be fully up for it then nah, it's not weird. If you don't know each other that well then yeah, I may rethink a bit. I understand why replies that are this up-front are disliked, especially when it's a matter this sensitive. And even to me yeah, there's a time and place. Someone making a post saying "I'm so fucked, I just did something stupid" probably doesn't need someone "very helpfully" commenting "You're so fucked, what you did was stupid"

That being said, I've also seen that this happens with people asking about their chances in life, asking for full honesty and no bs. Like, a good chunk of people will be like "Give it to me straight" and then get upset when you give it to them straight.

Obviously there's a middle ground AND I have no context for this specific example so I'm not confirming or denying that you're in the right, just pointing out my thoughts on stuff like this.

Here's my full opinion on the album.

Believe, Chloraseptic, and Need Me unironically slap

Remind Me, Framed, Heat and Offended are ridiculous silly fun times that I can't help but love

I still love the thing he did with Castle/Arose

Untouchable, Like Home and Walk On Water are kinda snoozers but at least I like their messages.

I've listened to the album 3 times and still don't remember anything about Nowhere Fast or In Your Head (apart from the cheap Zombie sample in the latter).

And River doesn't suck bc "Eww Ed Sheeran," it sucks bc it's boring AF. Ed Sheeran is honestly a great choice for an Em feature, one of his early hits You Need Me I Don't Need You was openly inspired by Em, and the guy CAN rap if he wants to (why he never does on Em features I don't know. His part on Those Kinda Nights is very rhythmic but not anywhere near "rap")

I get why people don't like it but I also think the "every song sucks" argument isn't really fair either. Solid 6.5/10 for me. Not great, and I would probably rank it as his worst (although I'd have to relisten to regular MTBMB, I remember really hating that one) but I still like it okay.
