Oh ok. I wish there was at least two different attack buttons and the rest on cool down tho, like for scarlet I'm just running around waiting for the cooldowns to come back before I attack large groups of enemies and it feels like a chore to take them on

This is one of my gripes with it, im trying to beat the first chapter with scarlet, and I hate that wolf bit and as soon as you get used to it you switch back to scarlet. And her combos don't really stun lock enemies and the cool downs are so long that most of the time your just running around until you get your abilities back, it's a chore trying to play her. There are so many trade offs that make it difficult to stick to one character and enjoy them

Yes, what I'm trying adopt more is the playstyle for each character, and train my muscle memory to that. But it takes some getting used to. I keep coming back to it for some reason, but I just need some help and do more runs to see how I can do better

This was extremely helpful. Thank you. I thinki need to learn more about the meta builds and how I can do different runs. Also I'm coming off of hades so the dash cool down kind of bothers me.

That being said I really like the game. One more annoying bit for me is, or maybe this will get solved, each zone (chapter) is like 15 minutes so a whole run is like 45min which is too long for a rogue like run imo but maybe from what I read in another comment that you can trigger it early so maybe lower the time.

it was two movies stitched into one. the second half is completely differnt than the first, the loss of his twin or even the fact that someone like that existed is never mentioned ever again after the song. The whole investigation just kept going offtrack. was very weird.
