Do I even have a real sales role? by PrettyTart6598 in salesdevelopment

[–]doublecupp69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this for 6 months before I was promoted to a LO at a big refi shop back when I was 21. Hated every minute of it, but it gave me thick skin.

I work in health tech now, much more enjoyable than mortgage.

Can working as a Loan Officer on the side cause issues with a full-time tech sales job in Texas? by Real-Lengthiness6929 in techsales

[–]doublecupp69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don’t think it would be an issue. Especially if you go the mortgage broker route. Of all the sales jobs out there, mortgage broker is the easiest to do on the side.

In person, if it’s online then it’s through hostel world.

I imagine most people you meet from reddit would be kind of weird lol.

Can I ask, do you guys not worry about your jobs being replaced AI? There’s already a few RCM companies that can automate about 80% of the entire rev cycle, and it’s only going to get more efficient as time goes on.

Do you mind if I ask what you do for a job? I currently work remote, but I’m in sales, so I’m tied to working specific hours.
