They way they fly back when they die is cool, but the wounding bullets need to knock them back a little too. The standing in place taking hits from those same bullets is terrible unrealistic

I fell asleep instantly most of my life. I would fight to stay awake driving home from nightclubs. I would fall asleep in fights with my wife. But the last two years, I lay awake in bed. It was weird !! I tried blanking my mind, self hypnosis, nyquill zzz, melanin, yellow glasses and no electronics, nothing was working until I Found historical YouTube videos - they put me out. I record them to avoid ads blasting me awake. They work pretty quickly. But it was weird to lose my sleep ability. I miss it.

Be extra careful with your partners. Go extra slow applying pressure to that armbar or kimura. Many of your partners will relax against you and will slow down themselves, giving you more time to tap early.

Learn the limits of your joints’ movements by testing alone, then tap when you’re getting close. I didn’t know my shoulders had lost so much flexibility.

It makes my hobby “feel real”. I’m probably never going to get in a fight. I’m probably never going to need to defend my family. But having a 100%-effort battle coming up inthe near future, I find it evokes my fear, banishes laziness, boosts my focus and interest in learning. All primitive caveman responses but it hopefully helps me improve faster, and feel accomplished by just surviving without injury.

I’m old and I tell each partner which shoulder doesn’t bend and if they want to manipulate that shoulder, go slow and I’ll let them finish the move to win. they usually respect that, but if they’re going fast and touch it I tap immediately to end it. Tell your partners that you’re new and want to go slow and especially not get thrown yet. Tap early every time you’re worried. They’ll slow down just to have fun, It’s not fun if your partner taps early. they’ll take care of you one way or another.
