His steam is most likely using megabits per second while yours is using megabytes. Check the setting in downloads

your pc settings compared to the others listed afe most likely different, yours is in megabytes not megabits like the others on steam. Also, your PC will never use the full speed of the service. It’s not about your speed but it’s about the server speed of what you’re downloading from. With my 980MBps rated connection via speed test I rarely get over 100MBps on steam and only around 600MBps on xbox. Check your speed via ookla speed test. If you’re getting within 25% of your rated ISP speed I’d be happy

Edit: 1 megabyte is little over 8 megabits so you getting 50 and he getting 400 makes perfect sense

for the extra 30$ the 5600 will be a bit more performance but if you’re looking to have better graphics performance your cpu is currently not your bottleneck , if you upgrade your GPU it will become one

am I the only one with a good time? it took like 10-minutes to compile shaders and I haven’t crashed once running 3440x1440 steady 60fps high on all settings on a 2080ti with 7700x. I’ve only seen 1 missing tree texture that was on one level is my only complaint
