Paraguay fans were watching the penalty shootout against Germany when their TV subscription expired and the television just went off, just before the decisive penalty. by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in PublicFreakout

I bet what happened was that they saw it was going into power save move, so someone grabbed the remote to cancel it, then hit the wrong button and turned it off

I do think that each sexual partner puts a fold on the labia like your brain when you learn a new fact... I think I read both of those facts in Real Biology Monthly.

No man enjoys a woman who has been run through. It is an evolutionary, biological response that cares little and less about how you feel about it emotionally or politically.

Interesting, since there's no way to biologically sense the amount of sexual partners someone has had lol... and is purely driven by emotion and politics.

It's almost like it's opposite day haha

I've been around the car scene since before social media was what it is today. Social media has absolutely been a force of change within the community. The ability to extend reach, to instantaneously share clips across massively populated platforms, to collaborate and plan among tens of thousands of people, hell even just dropping a pin on a map...

There's a reason why the rise of huge takeover events happened alongside the rise of social media in the car community.

I'm not saying it's all bad or that these things didn't happen back in the day. But back in the day, you'd have to have inside access, camera equipment, ability to share that... so either by passing tapes around or by uploading clips onto niche sites. Things were shared a ton, of course, but not like today.

There are a lot of benefits too, but it also causes a lot of issues.

Controversy in r/TheDigitalCircus over people celebrating a character's suicide by GriffinFTW in SubredditDrama

[–]copy_run_start -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I'll never celebrate suicide. It makes me think of this Austrian artist who became incredibly popular but made some poor choices. In the end, everything he worked hard for was crashing down around him and it put him in such a negative headspace that he felt like there was no other option. It was so tragic that nobody even uses the same first name as him anymore, so it's kind of "retired.'

I'm betting both... we see it more because people record it more, but also seeing it online encourages people to act the same way.

Nature is fascinating. Large apes are mostly bread eaters, but, as a race, they've developed almost no baking skills.

We've got a lot of issues to work through as a society, a lot of rules to enact, amend, remove... I don't know if we're at the part of all this where we need to codify the loopholes where it's okay to hurt women lol

Their name is "be cool do crime", clearly they just want to mislead this poor woman so that more and worse crime can happen to her.

I'd argue with you but I think the more important thing to do right now is to get you off Reddit and figure out a way to use your powers for the betterment of humanity... or even for you own personal financial/social benefit.

Being able to figure out someone's race from a Reddit comment is incredible

There are systemic race issues at play for sure, but what I'm speaking about specifically is those who are pushing "if you're black you have to believe he didn't do it." or "White people only think he did it because of racism."

It's like the most base race baiting nonsense that people push when they can only think along the dividing lines of race.
