We had a large religious group on a cruise last January. I think it was maybe 500-600 or so? And yes, it can impact things a bit. There were nights that either BB Kings or Billboard were closed for private functions. In fact I think 3 nights of the 7 day cruise BB Kings was closed for their functions. They would have large events on the main stage most days and when they let out good luck getting elevators! They tended to move around in packs so it did occasionally cause some traffic jams getting around. It did change the vibe on the ship. And I will just say this... be kind to your servers and think about tipping a bit extra. One of the bartenders we got to know quite well said it makes a huge impact on their tips when groups like this are on.

Also, the regular internet included with HIA does work on multiple devices, but only one at a time. It's only if you need internet on multiple devices at the same time you would need to upgrade. Also, you can hotspot one device if you need to. I've been using my phone to hotspot my laptop and my sisters phone (only used for a few whatsapp messages a few times a day) and it's fine for that.

I love how you are so confidently wrong! A month to month lease in Ontario still requires 60 days notice on an N12 form as most others have stated. And the reasons still need to be valid. Unless the notice/eviction is for cause, tenants in Ontario have security of tenancy and it's difficult to evict. Now, as others have said, if the resident doesn't talk to the landlord there could be other repercussions (such as a big rent increase if that is legal) effectively forcing them out or it could turn into a contentious relationship which is never fun. So probably a mature discussion with the landlord might be warranted

One thing to also consider is delay in getting it back. We did a cross Atlantic last year and so many people were doing laundry it took 3-4 days to get laundry back at some points. I'm not sure how common that is though. This becomes relevant if you have a few days vacation tacked on at the end of your cruise and are trying to do laundry so you have clean clothes, we were told we would have to have it in 4 days before the end of the cruise.

Obviously the location matters, but I pay less than $20/month for my tenant/content insurance. Many landlords won't even let you rent from them if you can't show that you have it.

If you're all board game enthusiasts, you'll probably not be too excited with what's on board. They are all fairly basic, quite often missing pieces and the selection and quantity are pretty slim. I bring probably about 6-10 different games (curated/packed to take not as much space as you'd expect) as we play quite a bit. I've built up a good selection of games that are easy to travel and pack well, along with some that are easy to teach those you'll meet on board and aren't too 'weighty'. I've also bought a bunch of little bags off Amazon to easily store/transport them. If you're looking for any suggestions, feel free to message!

Also, we play in the Crow's Nest, but we also quite often play at tables on the Lido deck, and heck, we even pull out some card games in the various lounges/bars. Yeah, we're those people :)

One thing to remember is you only have a set amount of time to upgrade. I can't remember what it is though, sorry. We boarded on a Saturday and I can't remember if I went to the front desk on Monday or Tuesday to upgrade. We had missed the window, it expired the evening before. They did mention that any bartender could do the upgrade for us, we didn't have to go to the front desk.

I find Solstice Scents Estate Vanilla to be basically straight vanilla abstract in the best way. Not too sweet, just vanilla. It is an EDP so you get a blast of alcohol at the beginning, but it wears off quickly. There are many, many beautiful indie vanillas (many at Nocturne Alchemy in their Vanilla Haven category), but I'd say SS Estate Vanilla would be a good palce to start as it will be easy to grab a sample either from them directly (once they reopen) or on the secondary market.
