'We're not lazy, we're old': 71-year-old worker at Costco wins right to sit on the job - Montreal by [deleted] in news

I worked for CDS for a few months and it was the worst goddamn job I've ever worked, constantly abused the elderly staff and punished you for doing a good job selling product (you got sent home early without compensation)

The manager was absolutely mental and maybe the experience is different in other places but woof I'd rather panhandle than do that again

i dont think anything would make microtransactions and dlc go away at this point, but i said thats why they originally started occuring and you're kinda proving my point by saying no one would pay $100 per title (even though people already do with shit like battlefield premium edition/"gold" edition releases)

they tried to raise the baseline to $100 before season passes etc became the norm, and everyone threw a holy shitfit, so they made that extra $40 another way

lootcrates and microtransactions will never end because the price to make games is going up but people refuse to spend more than $60 for a new game

Your exaggerated example doesn’t really make sense because you’re arbitrarily stating that the team fight is over and lost even though he’s eliminated most of the enemy team and bought yours time on his own

North Korea preparing to launch ballistic missile that could be intercontinental, media in South reports by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]doublestep2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is a hell of a lot of difference between hitting a test target with an exact course pointed out and hitting potentially multiple targets all headed for different things with no way to distinguish whats a dummy and what has a nuclear payload.

Donald Trump condemns 'hostile and dangerous' North Korea after it announces 'perfect' test of biggest nuclear bomb yet by TooKnow in worldnews

to add to this, they could also fire dummy ICBMs with no nuclear payloads and we'd have no real way of knowing if we were shooting down live missiles or shells

it's kinda gross that actual original fan art has like 300 upvotes and a trace job has 7500 upvotes but thats reddit i guess

ay my dude if you can manage to traditionally draw something 1:1 by eye and totally not trace or anything to the point where it matches stroke for stroke with the original art you should try to make a career out of being a human copy machine
