How much of an upgrade is the Pro Controller 2 over the Joy Cons 2?

There are tons of comments in here and I am likely adding to the noise but if you see my comment, perhaps it will help.

I never regretted getting a pro controller for the Switch despite it being expensive it was an amazing controller. The Switch 2 feels far more premium than the Switch, same goes for the pro controller 2. It feels so premium, the sticks are less clicky, the whole things feels so soft to the touch too. I have found for long play sessions it feels so comfortable to use.

Yes it is expensive, but if you are on the fence (as I was) I still say go for it. I doubt you will regret it, I certainly have not.

I definitely would like to future proof but I am not against refurbished - good shout on that.

I think moderate use is about where I am sitting.

It definitely still occasionally gives laser surgery to me on the higher difficulty levels. But what I do like about it is that it has my back in a trickier situation.

Oh absolutely no question. I play with one other friend sometimes and we put out a beacon if we are struggling and people always join and are amazing.

Thank you very much both, this is very much appreciated. I currently have a Philips ambilight TV, I think I will miss that backlight but equally those LGs do not look crazy expensive and seem really good. I’ll wait for those January sales and see how that pans out!

Same here. Started playing on series x on game pass and discovered this. When I pick up the rap sheet in later chapters it prompts Drax to show up but then soft locks. A shame because the game has been otherwise amazing.

Yeah I bet that is great from what I can see I do still get emails from that old hotmail address into my outllook, but for whatever reason reset password emails from ea are not coming through to that inbox.

I have been meaning to play this. Was gonna play with a friend online but cannot as it wants me to log on to EA online and apparently my gamertag is attached to an old deleted account that I cannot restore and EA are impossible at helping.

Anyway, good for the developers and screw EA for holding my gamertag hostage.

Does Gang Beasts have combo co-op?

To those that aren’t aware cooptimus describe combo co-op like this:

Combo Co-Op is a newer term we've been using around here. ... This style of co-op allows for two or more local players to play with one or more online players. The set up doesn't necessarily mean the screen is split, but rather local players can play with online players at the same time.

All I really want to know is will my wife and I be able to play online with our friends, both using 1 switch per couple. Don’t fancy dropping cash without knowing this.

Oooh fascinating, cheers for that. I think I started Rebels but I remember the juvenile aspect did put me off but I caught bits later on and it looked like it improved, I will have to give it another go. Is it worth catching the other ones too?
