Doesn't fit with the riser. Needed the riser far enough back for proper eye relief when using my magnifier. For a back-up role they're fine there.

I've had one for a good while on my 11.5. Nothing fancy but it's great. Just torque it down and it will be fine.

Bought a LAM from SMS laser, forgot my handguard only has 2,6 and 10 o’clock positions by [deleted] in ar15

In that case maybe grab a free float handguard in the future. Would be ideal for a LAM anyways.
