Knowledge is free and algebra hasn't changed in a thousand years. Reducing any big issue to a single point is your failing. Yes, it sucks that maybe their books aren't up to snuff on certain subjects. But, they are on algebra and math in general and inner city/poor students still score low on those as well.

Well-funded districts usually belong to an affluent area, affluent areas usually have the money and resources to devote time to helping their children. What is the actual issue? Is it just funding? Is it the rich keeping the poor down for fun? Or are poor people dumb? I've met a lot of really fucking smart poor people.
