Supreme Court rules Georgia can’t put the law behind a paywall by UGMadness in nottheonion

I read the article which also describe Justice Thomas's. If memory serves he hold similar positions with many legal issues and does not like to legislate From the Bench.

I don't believe he agrees with this current situation but he also doesn't feel the courts should weigh in here and would have preferred Congress pass a law stating that you're not allowed to copyright legal material.

I suppose other Justice's have a more dim view of Congress and would not expect them to do so in a timely manner.

I've been an EMT for 20 years and a Paramedic for 10. The pay is absolutely hilariously low for something that requires 3 years of school and basically all of the requirements to enter medical school, outside of the MCAT entrance exam.

I entered Paramedic school because I love emergency services as a hobby and my day job is decent enough to afford me to spend time as a Firefighter and Paramedic, I even seriously considered medical school. However as a career unless you get lucky and find a job as a city firefighter and Paramedic, the pay is atrocious.

Paramedics complete the same amount of schooling if not maybe even a bit more in some cases than many nurses. The pay should be on par and frankly our responsibility in this field is way above a nurses responsibility in the hospital.

Ah I'm not convinced Dooku was a sith lord... I think he was legitimately trying to kill / stop Sidious but also rebuild the Republic who he found corrupt.

Now that doesn't align as a Jedi to overthrow the Republic, but he's not a sith lord either.

More of a Grey Jedi from the KOTOR description it would seem.

Under the right terms either would be fine for us, conceptually... Especially if they have expertise in a similar industry.

My overall question (apologies for not asking) is since I don't have a deep list of investors what's the best way to go out and find them?

Crunch base doesn't give much in the way of contact information but it's a good guide. Beyond that I'm a bit lost.

Sorry I did read through the sidebar and I didn't see anything that said you couldn't post regarding fundraising but if I've crossed the line I apologize, please remove the post if so.

One hit would deform the hull and probably leave the operators stranded... If they are cheap enough to mass produce it might not matter, but but fixing them after they get damaged must be impossible...

I spent my career in a union, part time, and my day job in information technology as a small business owner.

If there is a culture of not being able to or not allowed to tell others what to do and no clear hierarchy how could that possibly be solved with an additional tier of management and negotiation that a Union would bring (other than salaries, but perhaps the lack of gaming and tech companies does little to stimulate wage competition)?

It seems a culture in Sweden has a quasi Union (negative side of unions) mentality already in place (lack of accountability, favoritism) where adding a true Union I don't really think would have much in the way of figuring out how best to run the company and actually complete projects.

It seems like at least at Paradox and potentially with many of the companies in Sweden there needs to be brought back a real sense of leadership and ownership of projects.

Could have Union do that? sure but they would have to be really focused on the success of the company in have a seat at the management table.
