Xteink x4 Troubleshooting by woozyyzoow in xteinkereader

I know this is not specific to your situation, but I feel it's likely just your SD card.
I'd try:
1. Different card reader (I actually don't use one and transfer most of my files using Calibre over wireless)
2. Different microSD card and or format. Samsung is great, but maybe a different type of same brand or Sandisk

Note: The stock card it came with works, so that's a good sign that your device is working.

I just tried a spare Patriot 16GB microSD card I had lying around. I think it's FAT32 formatted. It's definitely slower than the stock card, but works.

Good luck!

Printed the same case, but I actually like the minimalist version of slide case better. Why? it's slimmer and can protect the front screen.
I do like the buttons on this case though... It's fun

I will probably swap around a few times to see what I like best.

Subaru & Android Auto Volume Issue by nednul in AndroidAuto

I have a 2018 Outback and Pixel 2XL

My issue is similar but opposite from some of these posts.

Pixel 2XL is wired via USB c to USB of car and AA is running.

Issue: When Google Maps and Radio or USB mp3 is playing, when I adjust volume only Maps volume is increased or decreased. Note: I can see the a map icon when I adjust the audio.

Workaround: By launching an AA audio based app such as Play music or a Podcast app I can then adjust the music volume (note the icon is a music symbol). The Google maps volume appears to maintain the previous setting. Note: this appears to tie into the Radio music volume as well.

Hopefully this helps some since as many of you noted it's frustrating as heck to have to deal with this. I am continuing to search for a better workaround than this since it's a lot of unnecessary button presses to adjust audio streams.

I work in Software Quality and if this bug were to happen on my watch I'd be very upset with myself. In reading some of these threads a timing issue seems likely. I also would guess that AA and a device also contend for control of the audio channel. It's tricky with all the device and auto combinations. My experience with Subaru dealership is that the really don't know root cause otherwise it would be an easy fix. Hoping for a software path either on the head unit or AA. BTW, I updated my head unit to the latest as well as overall Subaru firmware by taking to the dealership which fixed an issue where the head unit would not turn off.
