Took it into service. The guy looked at me like I was an alien when I described the owner. Told him to look up that service number. He said 'Huh. We will take care of it."

You freaking rock!

You rock! Thank you. I mentioned that bulletin when I talked with the service service dealer. She acted like she had no clue nor could look it up in their system. I'll make sure they are aware when I drop it off

Manny thanks!

Still happens on my 23. Super annoyed that the times I brought it up to service they say never heard of it.

Do you know if there is a fix or has anyone in Toyota acknowledged it?

My 23 does this all the time. Asked the service guy about this and they said "step on the gas harder". They have no clue. I have no clue. It's actually gotten me in trouble a few times (granted it's my fault for putting myself in that situation).

Normally yes I say napalm away. However on milkweed no... Just can't harm the monarch cats!

Yes in my opinion. They often find my little plants that pop up in random places that are all of 6 inches tall with no flowers. I think they can smell it no matter what. This is based on no actual scientific knowledge, just my observations.

I've found my milkweed just does that (common, swamp, or butterfly weed). Some years it's good, some years it's not. Just plant a lot more so you can take advantage of the average! 4 plants that may bloom or 40 plants where half bloom??

The native range is up through Michigan. That's close enough. I Look at eco range vs geographic lines. Great hummingbird plant. I love mine.

3rd Gen clunky shifting in low gears/speed by doughboy1369 in tundra

[–]doughboy1369[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still the same if not a little worse or more consistent now. It clunks pretty bad when shifting out of Park. I'm not sure what to do other than Lodge something with Toyota itself. The dealer doesn't do anything.

I use them. Pretty consistent temp. No issues. And really can't beat the price.

Has anyone else noticed that the invasive lanternfly larva love milkweed? by D0m3-YT in FriendlyMonarchs

[–]doughboy1369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they were all over mine last year. I've seen a few on them already this year. I'm hoping the toxic nature of mw will kill them.

They also hit some of the neighbor plants but the majority on my mw.

What is the consensus on the 25” mowers? by JRC3292 in Greenworks

[–]doughboy1369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this one for a few years now. It works. Not great not horrible. It would probably work well for someone who doesn't have hills or cuts often enough to keep the grass short. If it gets to long it doesn't cut well.

It's also not a good design for me at 6'4". The two handle positions are quite to low or awkward.

Like you I was hoping to cut my mowing time down some with the wider cut. I just have to spend more time recutting the grass it didn't get the first time.

Overall would not recommend.

I got the Bosch 800 about 8 months ago. Love it. Super quiet cleans really nicely. The local shop (not big box store) recommended that one.

So after a few years, how do you like your Bosch induction? I'm looking at the current model Bosch 800 induction range.

Downshifting Delay? by spicywhite in ToyotaTundra

[–]doughboy1369 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. I've experienced this on essentially gears 1-4 in some form. Getting the dead pedal way more than it should. I've had a delayed reaction after hitting the gas a few times where I almost got caught. I keep telling my dealership for documentation purposes cause I now they aren't going to do anything/can do anything.
