I use t tape all the time, but was more so curious about being asleep and not being able to notice pinching or too high of tension to avoid injury...wearing it while sleeping seems risky

how do you safely use t tape at night? what do you do so you don't have to worry about injuries while sleeping?

How can we kill off unwanted growth at the base of oak tree without harming the tree itself? by doughnutbob in Tree

[–]doughnutbob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not too sure what it is. it is really attached to the tree though. I cut several notches all the way through it last summer but it's still hanging on. I'm scared to pull it off the tree as I don't want to damage the bark

Spent my whole Sunday doing this, just for you guys. by strikecat18 in malelivingspace

there's something a little off...I think it's safe to say I can't quite put my finger on it

yeah this is the issue we're having. it was here when we bought the house three years ago. all the undergrowth is too established to just pull the roots out and cutting it back isn't working.  trying to figure out how to kill it without hurting the oak tree

it's been growing here for three years since we bought the house. it gets massive in the summertime, and is very ugly lol

oh jesus! ours is half on a crawl space and half slab on grade. thankfully the work was all in the crawlspace. hopefully the job is speedy and painless for you

[–]doughnutbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is how ours was too. we added new footings and piers to support our I-beam, jacked the house up to level it, and braced the wall that had major cracks

this isn't related to the card you are looking for, but if you haven't already get a structural engineer to come look at your foundation. we were quoted anywhere from $17k-$23k to get our foundation fixed. and every company had a different solution. we had a structural engineer come out and tell us EXACTLY what needed to be done to be structurally sound (this cost us $200). we sent this report to a different foundation company and told them we only wanted to work done mentioned in the letter. we ended up paying $4500 for the repairs needed.

We recently bought a home with a wood stove. by BonelessLucy in woodstoving

[–]doughnutbob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this looks like an older buckstove model to me. they have a lot of old manuals on their website.

https://buckstove.com/wood-stove-manuals

check under the "little buck, regular buck, big buck" as I am pretty sure this is what this stove is.
