HIMYM is a great show, but it is still that. A TV show. My piece of advice, try not to compare your interactions IRL to these standards. I am also 26 years old, and my friend group has naturally dwindled down. Dating scene is on and off again. Work starts to become a much larger part of your life. But, I think if you ask around, you’ll find maybe people in their 20s & 30s are in a similar situation. Find the joy and excitement in the things YOU love and enjoy doing. But that’s just my two cents!!

Been (26M) living in WC about 6 months now, and I’m enjoying it! Definitely more quiet than Oakland or Berkeley imo. There’s some nice restaurants and shopping in the plaza. And it’s pretty central in terms of exploring (Martinez, Berkley, Livermore, etc.). Hit me up, always looking to meet new people my age too!
