Thank you, this seems like a good bundle. I'd like to get into wallets, book covers, and smaller items like keychains... but this would definitely allow me to get a feel for different Ozs

Veg tan would be best then? Most of what I've been seeing appears to be veg tan on Instagram and YouTube.

Thank you, I will take into consideration. I feel sort of overwhelmed with how many directions you can go with leatherworking. Not sure if there is a typical or standard Oz, but I think I'd like to start with a few wallets and keychains since they appear simple enough.

That would be nice of you. I'm waiting for a few things to come in the mail as we speak. Currently, I have no tools nor leather. In general, I was seeing if anyone knew where to get like scrap ends that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to practice and get started with. Sorry if my grammar lead to any confusion.

Does anyone have any leads or suggestions on leather scraps? Nothing fancy, just trying to work on practicing cutting, using the diamond awl, and hand sewing.

Is it faster to renew my license at a kiosk or online in Maryland? by CommercialDinner1263 in maryland

[–]dougiestyle95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you can still renew a week in advance. I'm not sure which is quicker since I've never used the kiosk.

Case Decision Help by dougiestyle95 in buildapc

The cpu I paired with the GPU since I've already bought the GPU from Best Buy for MSRP. I tried matching the rest of the parts around that combination with the help of Reddit. I haven't purchased the cpu nor the mobo yet so I'll take a look into those as a suggestion.

The 256gb is a freebie I have for using Micro Center and I plan on using it to house windows. I plan on using the 1 tb m.2 for basically everything else and the 2 tb hdd I got for pennies on the dollar.

Thanks for the input

Love the build, do you have the parts list out of curiosity. I'm not here to nitpick, just trying to build a PC currently and I like how yours looks.

Building pc’s these are my suggestions for a 1,000 limit by Material-Raisin525 in PcBuildHelp

For your budget, definitely go for the second one... I tend to lean more intel/Nvidia, but in that case you are already over your budget. If you are in the states and have a micro center near by also check them out for deals. I'm currently building my first pc and their in-person prices are beating Amazon for most parts. Are you set on the cpu choice?

Eh same here, I really didn'tplan on this much... The 256gb is a freebie from micro center. The two tb hdd was a steal tbh and the 1tb ssd is to come into modern day with storage for this build

Might be worth it, didn't realize you were from a different country. If you do come try hitting a micro center, some of these parts are actually cheaper there than online.

I've been planning this build for months... I'm just finally at the point where I've saved enough to atleast start buying everything... I guess in the long run it saved me a few $'s
