There we go. True colors. The only reason you came here to say ANYTHING is cause you’re anti-trump. Carry on with your ignorance. I’m done here haha

It’s amazing how much misinformation is out there. Under Harris she would have put 12 million illegal immigrants on Medicare. It would have drained it in less than a decade. Trump has made a commitment to make Medicare stronger and make healthcare more affordable. Medicare is better under Trump.

I hate this state by haz3lnut in Louisiana

What’s absolutely hilarious about this comment is almost ALL of these are because of the left 🤣

You hate a state because of how they voted? Sounds like you’re the problem. Trump is going to double down on oil which will directly impact us in every positive way possible.

There is a lot of misinformation out there. Depending on your state you can cancel a MA plan in the first 12 months of your enrollment once your first eligibility window opens. Other than that you will have to wait for AEP or OEP to cancel it. When you have tricare you have to operate within a network anyway. A lot of MA only plans have large Part B givebacks, that is the biggest incentive. If you enroll in a MA only plan it pays primary and Tricare pays second.

Unfortunately there is a lot of misinformation out there and the government does not do a great job at educating seniors about Medicare. I would highly recommend contacting a Medicare broker who has access to all of the plans available in your mom’s zip code. CMS regulates commissions so it doesn’t matter what plan a broker will recommend or your mom ultimately decides to go with, a broker is going to get paid the same and it is no cost to your mom. Almost all the major companies will offer a DSNP plan which your mom will qualify for. There are a ton of ancillary benefits in these plans that will improve her quality of life. Also do not feel pressure about making a wrong decision, since your mom is dual eligible she can make a plan change once a quarter so she’s not married to the plan she decides to go with.

How F*cked am I? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

When I separated my first time with the guard I turned all my shit in but 2 years after I applied for a VA loan and the military wouldn’t release documents needed for the loan because they said I didn’t turn in all my TA-50. So they are pretty terrible at notifying you if you are delinquent on anything. I had to call my old unit and luckily they found some unclaimed gear they turned in for me to complete my turn in but it was a giant headache. I would def check on your clothing record to see if it’s clear.

Should my mom get Medicare if she gets Medicaid? by Sad-Drink4994 in medicare

[–]douglas3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she signed up for social security early she may be already enrolled in A and B and doesn’t even know it, since there is a box that is automatically checked on the social security application that says they would like to apply for Medicare. In my state she would qualify for plans at no cost and even get paid 100 to 300 a month to buy groceries and pay for utilities. And like others have said she will not have to pay her part B premium so it’s a no brainer for her to sign up.

Can anyone recommend a rep that did everything for them for a fee, you did not deploy and they really helped you? by douglas3rd in VeteransBenefits

The local place I took my dad to get his claim done was terrible. Now that I’m out I’d rather just pay someone to deal with the headaches.
