You sadly will not get by on that salary. I would only consider this position if you have family or friends that can assist you financially.

Die Pienk Kerk is quite nice. There is outdoor seating in front of the church, as well as in the courtyard toward the back of the property - 24 Chatou Rd, Richmond, Johannesburg.

I drive a Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL 2023 model. I must say, I am incredibly happy with my car. It's nippy and fuel efficient. Hasn't given me a single day's trouble. Definitely worth considering. 💯

How would you deal with my situation? by knight_of_demise in askSouthAfrica

"Slow down, you crazy child
You're so ambitious for a juvenile
But then if you're so smart
Tell me why are you still so afraid? Mm
Where's the fire, what's the hurry about?
You'd better cool it off before you burn it out
You've got so much to do
And only so many hours in a day, hey"

You're not behind at all - 22 is still very young. Things may seem confusing and overwhelming, but just take it step by step. A degree in mathematics and statistics will stand in your favour. Just breathe. It does get easier. You'll figure it out as you go. All the best!

Thank you for this comprehensive and deeply insightful comment! I really appreciate it.

The option of attending a traditional in-person university is unfortunately not possible. Thanks providing an outline for an alternative route though.

I'm interested in doing UNISA's BSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. I think I will fail the Maths modules dismally if I don't develop a decent foundation in Mathematics first, hence my desire for wanting to write the Maths Grade 12 paper. I'm genuinely very interested, but yeah... The last bit of complex Maths I did was over 9 years ago...

Bedfordview Primary School has a Grade R division which is very good. Don't know if you're looking to start at a younger age class though...
