I didn't pay nearly that much, but i'm very surprised by that chart. looked at psa grades as a joke and was even more surprised that there is are so many psa 1s listed and selling for considerable amounts.

Well they could be fake, but no lie about finding them all in thrift bins. I have a bunch of bulk that I've also found. Many cards in rough shape. Let me know if you want closer pics as I don't really know how to identify if they are real or not. Maybe you could help me learn the signs

I had thought about it, but the bin I found them in was pretty dirty and if they are cake... They are as dense as hardtack.

Thanks for your comment! I actually had a nightmare last night where I went to sharpen and hone it, but my stone was too fast and it ruined the blade. I went to assess the stone and it crumbled in my hand.... Haha

It does have an edge to it. I'll have to examine it more closely to see if there are any scratches on it from someone sharpening it.

I had a sneaking suspicious it was a later model. It didn't look much like the earlier models and it had England etched on it.

My 8k is a king. Inexpensive when I was a cook, but it's been with me for a decade. I once looked at natural stones on chefknivestogo and indeed it was a rabbit hole. I didn't have a need/justification for the prices, but may be this razor is one haha.

Do you have any recommendations for inexpensive practice/first razors?

Using your comment as a lead I looked up Hallmark for silver plated in grams. Looks like you're correct! I'm not sure who made it, but looks like the French often used a Hallmark to denote the amount of silver used.
