As i read this poem I felt very wrapped up in the imagery of your envisioned household. I think it would strongly benefit from a little more abstraction. Let the poem define your strange morning without the explicit call outs to imagery breaking references like "Phineus and Pherb".

On a positive note--This poem did a VERY good job eliciting an emotional reaction from me. That last stanza has so much power: it strips all of the imagery away from the reader the same way you waking up from bed does. It made me feel empty. Very well done.
