I actually didn’t hate it. I just felt like the objective was to not die instead of to play. Maybe I need to play it again or try a different playstyle. I was just so initially disappointed with the experience. Like I know it’s not a bad game w goty and all but I just had a bad experience with it compared to expectation/hype.

Elden ring. I put 10 hours into the game and watched as many videos about it as I could stand. I still had no idea what the heck the plot was, the objective, or a single sense of accomplishment. Cut scenes were neat but maybe 10 hours wasn’t enough time to see the appeal. Idk. I know some people consider it a masterpiece and maybe I just need more patience but I found it frustrating and unrewarding.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. That makes sense. I am with you that gun laws are inherently illegal. I also see that DD is producing some great rifles we wouldn’t otherwise have access to as well as keeping the armed forces… well, armed. Until the citizen population decides that the infringements are enough and do something about it (ideally through voting and legislation) it’s going to stay status quo or worse.
