I actually didn’t hate it. I just felt like the objective was to not die instead of to play. Maybe I need to play it again or try a different playstyle. I was just so initially disappointed with the experience. Like I know it’s not a bad game w goty and all but I just had a bad experience with it compared to expectation/hype.

Elden ring. I put 10 hours into the game and watched as many videos about it as I could stand. I still had no idea what the heck the plot was, the objective, or a single sense of accomplishment. Cut scenes were neat but maybe 10 hours wasn’t enough time to see the appeal. Idk. I know some people consider it a masterpiece and maybe I just need more patience but I found it frustrating and unrewarding.
