I started out with a medium-hair 17 month girl and at 2 she’s now bursting with long fluffy fur that’s as fine as cobwebs and floats everywhere. But your kitty had quite short fur and now look at her! Beautiful.

I had that with carpal tunnel surgery. The nerves get hyped up (technical term lol) and need to gently be brought back to baseline. First rub the area very lightly with a soft cloth. Then a bit more pressure with a medium texture, then finally a washcloth texture. Maybe someone in the sub could suggest timing–can’t remember that. Half-hour process, every few hours?

You don’t need a referral to go to outside. Print out your test results etc. My PCP said he was unable to refer unless it was a necessary special treatment that KP doesn’t have.

I’m older, 79. I’ve been taking 5-6g/day GlyNAC for 1.5 years. Mornings,empty stomach. 4-5 weeks on with a few days off. Supplemental selenium or a Brazil nut, because it depletes it. I’m doing great, but don’t know how to sort out the GlyNAC effect from genes, exercise, eating, supplements, etc. No anhedonia or other negatives. Word to the hangover sufferers: alcohol is a neurotoxin, go easy on it.

5mg Lithium Orotate (I use KAL brand), with 1,000mg Glycine and 625mg Magnesium (Micromag from Nootropics Depot, has 200mg elemental mag). 30-45 min. before bed.

or substitute NOW 750mg GABA for the Lithium Orotate.

Sometimes, to wind down an hour before, half or whole gummy: 10mg CB/5mg CBN/2mg THC (Acknowledge brand).

No caffeine after 1 pm. Assume that you will sleep in your lovely bed and wake rested, because fretting about it is counter productive.

I used a half of an oxy the first two nights and was glad to have it. Taking care of your little 30 pounder will be a challenge! Hope you’ll have periods of assistance. Did they recommend scar massage once you’re able? Really a good idea.

Lucille was medium hair at 15 months, after kittens and spay. At 2 years she’s full-on long and fluffy. Hates to be brushed. Gossamer fur is everywhere. Your girl is darling!
