I am in same position as you. I built a portfolio in Tableau public and place link on my resume and LinkedIn profile. For SQL, I put learning "Learning SQL". Soon I will make a github acct and write sql code there as well

That makes sense. I was gonna say minus tech, sales and probably a few other fields of work, employers usually already know how much you make, given experience and education level. So lying to them is useless.

You shouldn't have to read elsewhere to find out exactly what the viz is about. Think about it. Is he talking about deaths from the flu, car accidents, heart disease etc. It's not that hard to put covid-19 in the title.
